K-1 Fiancé Visa & Adjustment of Status Document Preparation

Our founder went through the K-1 and AOS process firsthand — and paid thousands to services that felt impersonal and left too many questions unanswered. Expandia was built to be the service we wished had existed.

The K-1 and AOS Process Is Overwhelming — And One Mistake Can Cost You Months

Most couples going through the K-1 fiancé visa and Adjustment of Status process feel the same things — overwhelmed by the forms, terrified of making a mistake, and unsure who to trust for help.

Immigration attorneys charge $3,000–8,000 and often feel impersonal. DIY tools leave you guessing. And the USCIS instructions read like they were written to confuse you.

A missing document, an incorrect answer, or an unsigned form can trigger a Request for Evidence — adding months to your wait. For couples living apart, that delay is not just paperwork. It's real time apart from the person you love.

You deserve someone who actually understands what you're going through — because they've been through it too.

Our story — why Expandia exists

Expandia was founded by someone who went through the K-1 fiancé visa and Adjustment of Status process firsthand. The anxiety of waiting for that first NOA1 receipt. The confusion of the AOS packet. The feeling of staring at a form at midnight wondering if it was filled out correctly.

Our founder paid thousands to services that handed over a checklist and left them to figure out the rest. The experience felt impersonal — like being a file number, not a person going through one of the most important moments of their life.

That experience is why Expandia exists. Our founder became a certified document preparation specialist specifically to help couples get their paperwork prepared completely and accurately — so nothing gets missed and nothing gets left for them to figure out alone.

Our founder holds the National Notary Association Immigration Forms Specialist certification. Expandia works exclusively with K-1 and AOS document preparation — this is the only thing we do. Which means you are not getting a generalist. You are getting a specialist who knows these specific forms inside and out, because they have completed this process themselves.

Expandia remote K-1 and AOS document preparation service — serving couples globally.

 FAQs

  • No. I am a certified document preparation specialist, not a licensed attorney. I prepare immigration forms accurately based on the information you provide. I do not give legal advice, provide legal representation, or appear before USCIS on your behalf. For cases requiring legal advice, I refer clients to licensed immigration attorneys.

  • We work exclusively with straightforward K-1 fiancé visa petitions and Adjustment of Status cases — first marriages, no prior immigration violations, and petitioners who meet the I-864 income requirement. During our free consultation, we assess your situation and are upfront if your case falls outside what we handle.

  • Most packets are completed within 5–7 business days of receiving your completed questionnaire and supporting materials. The full K-1 process at USCIS currently averages 7–9 months from filing to visa approval.

  • My goal is to prepare packets so complete and accurate that RFEs are unlikely. However if you receive an RFE, I will help you understand what was requested. For RFE responses that require legal strategy, I recommend working with a licensed immigration attorney.

  • Online tools give you forms to fill out on your own. I give you a trained document preparation specialist who prepares your forms based on the information you provide, organizes your supporting documents, and walks you through the entire packet on a Zoom call before anything is mailed. You get thorough, organized document preparation at a fraction of attorney fees

  • Because document preparation work begins immediately after onboarding, fees are non-refundable once work has started. This is why I offer a free consultation first — so we confirm fit before you commit.
